Quarry Heo Rock Truck Operator

**Downer Contracting is an established Construction Company (30 years), with various work including civil and heavy construction.**

**We are seeking a multi-talented Operator who takes safety seriously and enjoys working on multiple sites: work is concentrated in the Bow Valley.**

**We are currently seeking for IMMEDIATE HIRE**:
**Experienced QUARRY HEO & Rock Truck Operators**
**Requisites are**:

- **Motivated to work in a team**:

- **Competent at working safely in work zones with other operators / contractors**:

- **Experience driving Caterpillar 730 Articulated Trucks required**:

- **Hauling in Quarry and Plant sites required**

**Duties**:
**Various hauling tasks associated with raw materials such as Riprap and Red Shale.**

**Regularly scheduled on-call work (1-2 weeks per month).**

**Work Parameters**:

- **Capable of driving on uneven surfaces, as well as some minor physical tasks including equipment pre and post inspections.**:

- **Basic Maths skills required (addition & subtraction)**:

- **Working 5 days per week, with the daily hours ranging from 8-12 hours /per day.**:

- **Additional hours as necessary.**

**Position(s) based in Canmore & Exshaw area, with travel potential throughout the Bow Valley: travel between multiple work sites is standard. No staff accommodation is available. Hourly rate is based on experience - overtime paid.**
