Auto Body Painter

DiVita Auto Design, a reputable custom and collision autobody shop located in Calgary, Alberta, is actively seeking a skilled and licensed Autobody Prepper/Painter to join our dedicated team. With a focus on both collision repair and custom vehicle projects, we are looking for an experienced professional to contribute to our high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
**Responsibilities**:
- Prepare vehicles for painting by performing tasks such as sanding, priming, and masking
- Complete accurate paint blending and color matching to ensure seamless results
- Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines and maintain a high level of quality
- Work on insurance claim-related collision repairs as well as custom vehicle paint projects
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring safety and efficiency
- Follow company guidelines and industry standards for best practices in autobody preparation and painting
**Qualifications**:
- Valid autobody prepper/painter license
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in autobody preparation and painting
- Proficiency in working with both water-based and solvent-based paints
- Strong attention to detail and an eye for color matching
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines
- Solid problem-solving abilities to address unexpected challenges
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- References from previous employers highlighting your skills and reliability
