**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and execute field testing of EMC environment both domestically and internationally
- Perform comparative analysis of computer simulation versus field-testing results
- Troubleshoot and assist with mitigation should EMC non-compliances arise
- Assess EMC compatibility of a variety of equipment and environments
- Write EMC test reports
- Maintain EMC test equipment calibrations
- Review design drawings to identify potential EMC hazards
- Flexibility and willingness to work offsite for extended hours when needed
- Develop/utilize software to sequence and automate field test
- Assist EMC Manager with EMC Management tasks
- Support of construction and installation activities in the field including support for Testing & Commissioning.
- Technical Skills and Experience:

- 2+ years of EMC measurement experience (laboratory or field), including equipment setup
- Familiarity with EMC codes and standards
- Methodical attention to detail
- Fabrication/Mechanical aptitude
- Desirable Experience and Knowledge:

- Low frequency EMC testing experience
- Ability to work independently or in a client-facing workplace

**Qualifications**:

- Technologist Diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related discipline such as Instrumentation and Control
- G class driver’s license in good standing
- Location: Kingston, ON
