WHO YOU ARE
You are a down to earth, friendly, and welcoming maintenance professional. You are gracious, accommodating, respectful and eager to help our guests and other team members provide an exceptional customer experience that our Vettä guests will rave about.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Assisting guests and responding to inquires.
- Monitor the quiet zone, ensuring guests are following protocols.
- Perform routine maintenance activities around Vettä Spa building and grounds.
- Ensuring fires are always stoked.
- Ensuring saunas are functioning appropriately for Vettä guests (add wood/water when required)
- Sweep and mop floors in buildings.
- Ensure restrooms and locker rooms are always kept clean and tidy by cleaning mirrors, toilets, soap dispensers, floors, etc.
- Replenish supplies in restrooms, such as soap dispensers, toilet paper, towels, shampoo, and all other amenities supplied.
- Replenish supplies in locker rooms and pick up towels and place in laundry area.
- Ensure adequate cleaning supplies are always on hand and advise supervisor if supplies are running low.
- Collect garbage and recycling items around the Spa grounds and put in appropriate containers.
- Assist with minor repairs as required.
- Comply with all Health and Safety procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL.
- Previous experience in customer service
- Positive, outgoing personality
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and procedures.
- Ability to stand, walk and bend over an 8-hour period.
- Work safely with cleaning chemicals.
- Previous cleaning at a spa or resort type environment an asset.
- Required to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- First Aid Certificate/CPR an asset

YOUR WORKING CONDITIONS
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment,
- Comfortable walking and standing over an 8-hour period of time.
- Work in an environment with mínimal temperature control,
- Able to lift max of 50 lbs.
- A tranquil, hydrotherapy paradise located in beautiful Horseshoe Valley surrounded by a mature forest.
