Technical Sales Representative

**Description**:

- Identify and explore new sales opportunities for a Tier 1 automotive supplier.
- Represent contract manufacturer with facilities in Ontario and Michigan by conducting sales outreach and following up on customer inquiries or leads.
- Satisfy customer needs by assisting in part design, process development, training, and after sales support/service as necessary.
- Maintains industry professional network.
- Can Read, Review, and Present Automotive RFQs.
- Ability to develop sales forecasts and project business trends.

**Requirements**:

- Driven, self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills who can sell solutions and manage business priorities.
- Minimum 2+ years of technical sales experience.
- 2+ years of automotive industry experience.
- Must be able to cold call when necessary to build business.
- Must be open to regional travel.
- Must be a self-starter with the passion to grow sales.
- Highly motivated and energetic team player.
- Valid driver’s license, passport, and able to meet requirements to cross the US/Canada border.

**Preferred**:

- Automotive sales industry experience
- Metal stamping and forming product knowledge
- Ability to read and understand part prints and GD&T
- 5+ years experience

**Compensation commensurate with experience.**
