**The Opportunity**
Reporting to the Logistics Coordinator, the Logistics Administrator ensures that all orders are processed in a timely manner.

**Responsibilities**:

- Communicates shipping information to customers as required.
- Communication with Customer Service on customer deliveries.
- Fills out paperwork, including invoices, bills of lading, customs papers, waybills, etc.
- Ensures that all information required for month-end is processed in a timely manner.
- Establishes and maintains good customer relations.
- Track shipping performance and cost savings.
- Follow shipping schedule and distributing to affected personnel.
- Handles freight claims as required.
- Inputs purchase order receiving information into the ERP system.
- Scan hardcopy of receiving documents, PO, and upload into ERP system.
- Generates NCR’s for nonconforming material and updates NCR tracking system when receiver activity assignments are complete.
- Schedules local pickups and deliveries with local driver.
- Communicates with vendors to resolve discrepancies.
- Fills out and submits purchase requisitions for department supplies.
- Contacts purchasing to update purchase order information as required.
- Coordinates inspection activities with inspector in accordance with specified receiving procedures.
- Orders lumber and other shipping supplies, as per established purchasing procedure
- Trains new employees.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma or GED.
- Post secondary education is an asset.
- Enrolment in CITT/PLog designation an asset.
- Well versed in Microsoft office suite of products.
- 3 to 5 years related experience is an asset.
- SAP knowledge is an asset but not a requirement Knowledge of ISO procedures an asset.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to multi-task and execute a wide range of details and tasks quickly and effectively.
- Good judgement/problem solving ability along with strong customer service and relationship building skills.
- Able to work independently.
- Ability to maintain records and keep track of all areas of responsibility.
- Able to work flexible shifts.
- Collaborative team player.
