Scaffolders

**Anticipated Start Date**: April 2023

**Project**: Blackwater Gold - Construction of a gold mine crushing circuit and processing circuit

**Location**: Near Vanderhoof, BC

**Schedule**: 14 days on, 7 days off, 10 hour per day

**Wage**: $44.87 per hour (Journeyman Rate) as per collective agreement

**Benefits and RRSP Provided** as per collective agreement

**Travel Available if Applicable**
- Have good working knowledge of construction practices and operation of tools to work safely and efficiently following directions from Supervisor
- Selecting materials, planning sequences and methods of work, and measuring and marking materials
- Loading and unloading scaffolding equipment on-site
- Ensuring a stable base for scaffolding
- Erecting, modifying and dismantle scaffold
- Fixing scaffolding to buildings or structure
- Laying decks for workers to walkways
- Fixing guard rails and safety netting
- Calculating weight of materials to ensure proper equipment is used.
- Must be able to communicate and work effectively with other trades
- Experience with installation of anchor bolts and embed plates
- Checking completed units to be sure they are level, square, and installed in correct location
- Considerable knowledge of the standard practices, methods, materials, and tools of the scaffolding trade

**Experience Requirements**:

- Valid SAIA or Alberta Carpenter's Scaffolder trade level certificate
- Experience with industrial construction
- CSTS-09 or CSTS 20
- WHMIS 2015
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions, able to interpret drawings, bill of materials and various other specifications

**Salary**: From $44.87 per hour
