RIMOWA has a unique opportunity for a Master Production Schedulerto join the CREW at our Cambridge facility.

We are searching for an analytical and self-motivated Master Production Scheduler who works well in a collaborative environment. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and providing instruction of production’s needs through the interpretation of a demand plan into a schedule. You will need to have outstanding communication skills and be able to present persuading arguments.

To be successful as a Master Production Scheduler, you should be able to proactively identify and prevent potential incidents. An outstanding Master Production Scheduler can juggle multiple responsibilities at once and calmly make important decisions in fast-paced environments.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan and control all scheduling activities supporting RIMOWA North America (RNA) Inc. production. Balance production with demand to support targets consistent with our customer service levels, inventory turn goals and capacity utilization.
- Develop detailed production schedules for the pre-assembly of component items and assembly of finished goods based on equipment, labour, and raw material availability.
- Develop Business Plan summaries for assigned product types and selected SKU’s including demand and production data.
- Provide schedules by SKU by line to production.
- Maintain and improve production compliance metrics to measure performance - report provided actual vs. plan.
- Use Capacity Planning tools to determine if production will be constrained in future periods, load level production plan, and identify potential corrective actions such as working overtime, adding equipment, or expediting
- Organize daily meetings to present and discuss the schedule
- Keep detailed records and prepare and submit necessary reports
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders

**Requirements**:

- Degree or diploma in business, logistics, accounting, supply chain management preferred
- Certification in APICS, CIPP or CPSM preferred
- Advanced level skills in Excel and PowerBI
- Familiarity with DDMRP preferred
- Five plus years’ experience in planning or scheduling in a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills
- Willingness to make quick and thoughtful decisions on behalf of the business
- Solid analytical skills with the ability to create reports and conduct efficiency analysis
