**Job Role**: We are currently seeking a **HSEQ Coordinator **to join our Regional Team in **Acton, ON.**

**Responsibilities**:
**Role Overview**:
Provide support to the HSEQ Manager. Coordinate in the development, implementation and administration of Health & Safety programs and systems that enhance the business and support legislated and regulatory requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide support in the implementation of the Corporate Safety Program
- Assist management and project teams with the implementation of site-specific safety programs
- Assist in the development and management of (JHA) Job Hazard Analysis and (SWP) Safe Work Practices
- Assist in the maintenance of Ontario COR
- Ensure Company’s Health and Safety is in compliance with, or exceeds applicable legislation
- Implement new and/or modified policies, procedures and initiatives to enhance the program
- Conduct routine site visits; inspect workplace facilities to ensure consistency with procedures and legislative requirements; complete site audits
- Conduct orientations for new workers and applicable training
- Assist with the investigation of Health and Safety related issues; implement preventative measures and follow-up to ensure compliance
- Assist in the design and implementation of safety training programs, and employee orientations, both on and off project sites
- Maintain all required documentation and reports, manage Risk Assessments and processes
- Address and mitigate Worker Near Miss, Incidents, and Environmental incidents to analyze, identify and communicate trends and frequency details
- Act as a facilitator of, and resource for, the company’s safety and health committee
- Act as full time, on-site Safety Representative whenever and wherever required

Qualifications:
**Education and Experience**
- Minimum 1 - 3 years related Health & Safety experience, preferably in a construction related industry
- NCSO/CSO with COR auditor
- Post-secondary certification (degree, diploma, certificate) in Occupational Health & Safety or related discipline (completed or in progress)
- CSRT is an asset
- Valid Ontatario driver’s licence

**Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements**
- Knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety legislation, principles and practices
- Working knowledge of principles and methods for training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (oral/written)
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Analytical, detail-oriented, flexible, adaptable, team player
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight timelines
- Good judgment and decision-making skills

**Physical Demands**
- Walking, standing, bending, climbing
- Work performed indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions
