Upholstery Sewer

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Sewer to join our Team. The sewer will be responsible for operating the sewing machines to create or repair upholstered fabric for furniture.

**Duties**:

- Operate industrial sewing machines to fabricate and assemble a variety of fabrics for uphostered furniture.
- Follow patterns and instructions to sew pieces together accurately
- Sews all panels and upholstery cover, including flat work and cushions to prepare for upholstery furniture.
- Follows safety protocols to prevent workplace accidents.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Sewer in a warehouse environment.
- Proficiency in operating industrial sewing machines
- Ability to read and interpret patterns and instructions
- Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
- Knowledge of different types of fabrics and their properties.
- Ability to work efficiently

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.00-$22.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- sewing: 3 years (preferred)
