Reporting to the Supervisor, Recruitment, Human Resources Services and consistent with the Mission, Values and policies of St.Amant, the Interview Assistant is a critical role in ensuring the success of St.Amant business and operations.

The Interview Assistant helps build a highly productive team that can communicate, cooperate, and advocate for the people within our organization. The Interview Assistant works with the Human Resource Services department to provide assistance and support to multiple programs throughout the interview and selection process.

**This role is filled by a person with an intellectual and/or physical disability who can bring the perspective of receiving services, and the ability to advocate for others to the interview process.**

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Program/Service Support**:
The incumbent is responsible for providing assistance to the Human Resource Services department in interviewing and selecting applicants to be considered for employment within St.Amant.

Duties include:

- Using Microsoft Teams to support Talent Acquisition Specialists to meet with applicants for virtual interviews
- Attends in-person group interviews as required
- Provides the applicant information related to the role
- Contributes to the decision to determine an applicant's suitability for employment, based on the interview
- Assists with general administrative duties that support the recruitment team and Supervisor, Recruitment, HRS
- Other duties as assigned

**Quality Management and Process Improvement**:
The incumbent assists the service area in maintaining a strong client/customer focus through participation in continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Duties include:

- Makes recommendations to improve the processes and services for which they are responsible
- Demonstrates a willingness to learn and promote policies and procedures
- Participates in process improvement activities as requested

**Organizational Planning and Development**:
The incumbent ensures the service provided is aligned with the dynamic role of the organization and the changing needs.

Duties include:

- Works to maintain effective relationships with all St.Amant teams
- Where reasonable, self-identifies learning needs that may enhance one's own skills
- Actively participates in committees, team meetings, in-services, seminars and educational conferences as assigned

**Working Conditions**:

- High paced and deadline-driven
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
