**Concrete Truck Driver**

We are currently looking for an **Concrete Truck Driver** to join our growing team
Reporting directly to the Operations Supervisor, the AZ Float Driver will be responsible for operating a tractor hauling a float trailer holding heavy construction machinery
**_Additional responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:_**
- Safely operate a concrete truck to transport and deliver concrete to construction sites.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in good working condition.
- Load and unload concrete materials as required.
- Follow specific instructions for each delivery, including the correct mixture, quantity, and placement of concrete.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time, location, and quantities delivered.
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely and professional interactions with construction site personnel.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents, injuries, and property damage.
- Report any vehicle malfunctions, accidents, or incidents to the supervisor promptly.
- Responsible for the maintenance of the equipment as per Forest Contractors Ltd.’s maintenance practices and procedures as well as manufacturers specifications.
- Following all applicable Federal (i.e., Transport Canada), Provincial (i.e., MTO) and local/jurisdictional legislation including but not limited to logbooks, weight restrictions, cargo securement and Highway Traffic Act regulations.
- Other duties as requested by the Operations Staff.
- Valid Class DZ driver's license with an air brake endorsement.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Concrete Truck Driver or similar role.
- Clean driving record with no major infractions or accidents.
- Solid knowledge of concrete mixing and pouring procedures.
- Familiarity with construction sites and an understanding of safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret delivery instructions and construction site plans.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting and operating equipment as needed.
- A strong commitment to safety and adherence to all relevant laws and regulations.
