Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Earthwork/Landscape Coordinator to join our team This coordinator supports the delivery of the project by assisting and liaising with various subcontractors, procurement, and scheduling, communicating with the Superintendent and other stakeholders, ensuring on-time delivery of project plans. Specific requirement of experience with drainage, duct banks, water and sewer, etc. an asset.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Ensure the Construction is in full compliance with the Project Agreement, including matters relating to quality, safety, environment, and life cycle performance, such as Project’s ECO Plan, Health and Safety Plan, and all applicable legislation.
- Ensuring maintenance of total quality performance standards, procedures and audit controls in order to meet project requirements
- Identifying and implementing process improvements in order to increase the efficiency, effectiveness and quality of site operations
- Fostering client confidence in project leadership
- Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and craft supervision
- Contribute to the preparation and execution of work plans and work packages
- Directing and ensuring completion of work activities on site in accordance with engineering plans
- Ability to read and interpret contract specifications, drawings and other construction documents
- Provide other technical office support as required by project team
- Assist in developing cost estimates, reviews and budgets
- Client service and customer focus in order to maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external
- Coordination of material and equipment needs
- Prepare productivity and cost tracking report as required
- Prepare cost estimates for change orders for audit purposes
- Price work orders and change notices for audit purposes
- Prepare document turnover as required for client and milestone records
- Participate in on-site safety meetings and lead by example
- Foster and maintain positive relations and communication with all stakeholders, internal and external
- Other duties as assigned.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or construction-related field, or equivalent construction-related work experience, as well as 3+ years of experience in field construction is required.
- Heavy civil construction landscaping experience, preferably in LRT or similar public infrastructure projects
- Completed post-secondary degree or diploma in construction-related or landscape architecture discipline, or equivalent work experience and valid trade credential
- Experience with landscaping and equipment operation
- Valid operator's license on such equipment an asset Valid Class 5 license, preferably with clean abstract

- Capable of handling pressure and challenges in a dynamic environment
- Effective and efficient problem solving and decision-making skills, thoughtful, proactive and creative
- Demonstrated sense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving goals
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency at reading construction drawings and blueprints Capable of negotiating the terrain of an in-process construction site, including slippery or steep terrain, climbing stairs and ladders, and working outdoors as required in allt ypes of Edmonton weather
