Interior Landscape Operations Manager

**About The Role**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Day-to-Day Business Operations: Own the day-to-day workflows that ensure Benji’s runs smoothly. Develop and implement improvements to business operations to improve our efficiency and our team’s productivity. This will include hands-on plant care with some of our clients
- Project Management: Overseeing new interior landscaping projects for residential, commercial, and public spaces.
- Budgets/Administration of Supplies Inventory: Oversee installation budgets and manages the supply chain, including installation inventory and sourcing. Optimize efficiency, cost-effectiveness and minimize waste
- Scheduling and Assignments: Creating weekly schedules for the team and assigning team members on installation and maintenance projects
- Quality Assurance: Conduct site inspections to ensure the quality of our installations while also providing recommendations for improving landscape practices and designs to the team
- Sales Support: Assisting, as needed, with proposals and budgets for new projects, including cost estimates, resource allocation, and expense planning. Sustainable Landscaping Practices: Development and implementation of sustainable landscaping practices including water management and eco-friendly material usage
- Hiring/Training: Collaborate with our Director, Client Success on staff planning and recruitment efforts. Own all team training programs and provide on-going coaching to enhance team capabilities

**Skills And Qualifications**
- 5 + years of proven experience in interior landscape management, small business operations management or a similar role. Previous experience leading a team is a plus
- Knowledge of plant materials, landscape design and maintenance best practices
- Previous experience leading and inspiring a team. Experience working with contracted employees is a bonus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with Benji’s team members, clients, and suppliers
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and a drive for high-quality service

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $65,000.00-$95,000.00 per year

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Landscape maintenance: 5 years (required)
- Operations management: 5 years (required)
- Organizational skills: 5 years (preferred)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON
