Duties and Responsibilities for this role include:

- Deliver product to customers in a timely manner
- Maintain an organized and clean truck inside and out
- Conduct regular inspections and maintain all required paperwork/documentation (i.e. circle checks, daily logs, invoices for delivered loads etc.)
- Report any damage of property or vehicle to Team Leader and Health & Safety immediately following an incident
- Provide a high level of customer service when responding to customer requirements
- Follow all loading policies and procedures and ensure the safe and proper unloading of tanker cargo into storage tanks
- Ensure all preventative maintenance is performed on assigned unit according to the truck service and maintenance schedule
- Understand and follow all Riverbend Co-op health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
- All other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Superior customer service skills
- Knowledge of federal and provincial laws and regulations including (but not limited) Transport Canada, Environment Canada & Provincial Environment.
- Excellent driving ability in all weather conditions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow a tight schedule
- Understand proper accident/incident response protocol
- Basic mathematical skills
- Organizational skills to prioritize work and meet deadlines in a cost-efficient manner

Qualifications:

- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class 1A) ;
- Safe driving record and clean Driver’s Abstract, which must be updated annually;
- Ability to perform regular heavy lifting and bending - up to 25 kilograms (50 pounds);
- Excellent interpersonal skills, energy, initiative and enthusiasm;
- The ability to prioritize and organize effectively;
- Mechanically inclined;
- Ability to work unsupervised for long periods of time and resolve problems independently;
- Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace
