**You as a Project Controls Manager will**:

- Lead the project team in developing project controls plans and procedures
- Lead the project controls function for the assigned construction project, including cost management, budget, forecasting, schedule management and progress measurement, and earned value management reporting
- Enforce consistent project level controls over budgets, construction schedule, quantities, commitments, liquidity, and reporting
- Responsible for the early reporting of project cost/schedule/installed quantities/man-hour reporting, scope challenges, and provide solutions to mitigate any identified risks
- Develop and manage a project budgeting tool that reacts and adjusts to changes in project scope, distributions, cost, and schedule
- Lead a forecast process that captures current spend and schedule expectations by area and task during all phases of the project
- Assess subcontractor bids, change notices, and costs to ensure best value for clients
- Assist in preparing client project funding documents
- Create and manage cost forecasts for key client developments
- Expertly negotiate agreements with pricing agreements with external partners
- Manage and monitor project schedules, reporting on exceptions to the plan
- Provide guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of difficult and complex project control problem

**Is this the right role for you?**
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, business, or related fields, or demonstrated equivalent and related experience
- Certifications such as Certified Cost Professional (CCP), Earned Value Professional (EVP), or related certifications preferred
- 3-5 years of construction industry experience, pharmaceutical or technology experience preferred
- Demonstrated experience in schedule analysis, cost estimating, earned value, and cost control
- Experience with creating reporting tools and dashboards with Power Apps & Tools
- Advanced knowledge of cost engineering concepts and scheduling skills
- Understanding of contract requirements and deliverables
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated high degrees of foresight, mature judgment, and creativity in anticipating and solving unprecedented complexities, preferably on life sciences or pharma projects
- P.Eng or PMP certification is a bonus
