**Detailer**

As a detailer, you’ll receive newly repaired cars from the paint technicians and get them ready for our customers. You’ll get to oversee everything that relates to creating the perfect surface for a beautiful coat of paint, and do a nice job on the interior. Your work is the icing on the cake, the wow factor our customers love.

You’ll succeed as a detailer because you have great:

The best detailers are committed to learning and perfecting their skills. They love impressing customers with a product that looks even better than it did before they brought it in. After they master detailer, they often grow into various roles within the organization including: prepper, painter, and body technician.

This position reports to our operations manager or the assistant manager. It’s a full-time permanent position working from our Cambridge location. The regular hours are Monday to Friday, 7:45am to 5pm; no evenings or weekends.

**Qualifications**
- Experience in automotive detailing. Polishing experience is a bonus
- Able to work full-time in a physically demanding role
- Valid G driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract

**Duties Included**:

- Cleaning automobile exteriors; wash surfaces and tires, use cleaning solutions with cloths and brushes, rinsing and drying cleaned surfaces and polishing chrome
- Clean automobile interior by vacuuming carpeting, ceilings, and upholstery; emptying ashtrays and refuse receptacles; cleaning, polishing, and drying surfaces and treating spots and stains.
- Maintain quality service by following service standards; conducting final inspection and correcting deficiencies.
- Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock; anticipating needs; placing and expediting orders and verifying receipt.
- Maintain safe work environment by adhering to work standards and practices.
- Document services by completing records.
- Accomplish organizational goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
