**Job Title**: Full-Time Course Salaried Manager for Saratoga Golf course

**Location**: Black Creek

**Job Type**: Full-Time, Seasonal (March/April to September/October Weather Pending)

**Salary**: $70,000 per year (Negotiable based on experience and abilities) + Competitive Annual Bonus + 3 Weeks Vacation

**Start Date: ASAP - **this position is currently vacant and available to be filled immediately

**Responsibilities**:
**Seasonal Operations**:

- Manage day-to-day operations of Saratoga Beach Golf Course during the operational season.
- Enjoy complete autonomy in your schedule with the expectation that you ensure customer satisfaction, optimal staffing levels to meet operational demands and maintain efficient business functioning, taking responsibility for the growth of the business through measurable achievements.
- Would be required to be oversee Tournaments/Events

**Business Management**:

- Regular communication and updates with the ownership group
- Operate independently, taking initiatives for business growth.
- Develop and implement growth strategies, partnerships, and programs for all ages and abilities.
- Oversee front counter operations, merchandise sales, and liaison with grounds consultant.
- Manage events, tournaments, and golf course play.

**Off-Season Focus**:

- Plan for the upcoming season, develop growth strategies, and initiate partnerships.
- Renew memberships and sponsorships, update manuals, Manage pro shop stock levels.
- Flexible off-season hours with the ability to work remotely.

**Supervisory and Administrative Duties**:

- Plan, organize, and direct all divisions of course management.
- Manage golf operation and maintenance personnel by overseeing recruitment, performance reviews, discipline, team-building, and coaching for employee development and growth.
- Organize and manage golf tournaments, handling scheduling, prize procurement, fee collection, logistics coordination, team formations, and on-site assistance for a seamless and engaging event experience.
- Evaluate and approve golf shop merchandising plans and purchasing processes, prioritizing strategies that align with and cater to the diverse needs and interests of our valued customers.

**Customer Service and Public Relations**:

- Interact with the public, private groups, businesses, and golf associations with tact and diplomacy.
- Develop and implement effective public relations programs.
- Respond to public inquiries about golf programs through various channels.
- Communicate official plans, policies, and procedures to staff and the general public.

**Human Resources and Training**:

- Oversee recruitment, hiring, training, scheduling, and terminations for front counter staff.
- Develop, Update and Revise procedural and policy manuals as required.
- Manage general opening and closing procedures.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong aptitude to learn, creativity, and a passion for success.
- Background in golf and/or tourism considered an asset.
- Social media savvy is an asset for engaging with the public.
- Knowledge and experience of leased snack bar/liquor facility operations is an asset and would include an increased starting salary
