We are currently looking for a highly motivated, energetic team member to join our team as a Home Renovation and Maintenance Associate. This position assists our Property Coordinator in ensuring our Temporary Foreign Worker houses are maintained throughout the year. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the houses are kept in standard with all applicable laws..

**Responsibilities -**
- Responsible for a variety of tasks, including general repairs; painting; installation of doors and shelves; repair of furniture and minor general electrical and plumbing repairs
- Responsible for maintenance and repairs of bicycles owned by Nortera and used by our migrant workers
- Ensure prompt snow removal and salting of any sidewalks and driveways at multiple houses
- Grass cutting and yard maintenance at migrant worker houses
- On-call responsibility for any emergencies that may come up with the migrant worker housing
- Follow directions from the Manager
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirments** **-**
- 40 hours per week (schedule may vary based on seasonal demand)
- Flexibility to work on weekends if required
- You are able to work on an on-call basis in the event of an emergency and have your own transportation
- Must be capable of speaking, reading, and writing English at a Level 3 requirement
- Proven ability to work effectively as a team
- Must be able to meet minimum dexterity requirements of this position: bending, twisting, reaching, lifting, crouching, kneeling, standing, walking, sitting, etc.
- Ability to lift in excess of 23 kilograms/50 pounds
- Hourly wage is $22.00 - $24.00/Hour (Depending on experience).
