We currently have an opportunity available for a
**Part Time RN in our Operating Room**

**Position**: Registered Nurse

**Department**: Surgical Services

**Status**: Part Time (0.6FTE)

**Schedule**: Days/ Evenings [7.5 hr shifts]

**Hourly Rate**: $37.93 - $54.37 (effective April 1, 2023)

**Duties to Commence**: Immediately

**Affiliation**: ONA Local 049

**Qualifications**:

- Registered Nurse (BScN), Bachelor Nursing or Diploma in Nursing
- Current Certificate of Competence from College of Nurses of Ontario
- Coronary care course and /or critical care course preferred
- 1-3 years of recovery room, ICU or ED experience preferred
- 3 years’ experience in acute care preferred
- Current BCLS, ACLS and N95 mask fit
- Computer competency (Meditech and order entry)
- Ability to assume leadership/supervisory and teaching roles
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills
- Proven ability in independent and collaborative decision making
- Critical analysis skills
- Commitment to continued education related to position
