**Job Summary**

Our Delta, BC location of Zodiac Hurricane Technologies has an immediate opening for Store Parts Supervisor in our Store Parts Department. This position is permanent, full-time, working Monday through Friday starting at 7 am with opportunities for overtime.

As a Store Parts Supervisor, your primary responsibility will be to efficiently ship parts sales orders and manage shipping requests in a timely and accurate manner and oversee our store's efficient operations, ensuring excellent customer service, managing inventory, and coordinating the export control procedures. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining high organization and cleanliness in the store parts area, adhering to the 5S methodology

A counterbalance forklift certificate and steel-toe boots are required. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a daily basis.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

Shipping Parts Sales Orders:

- Supervise daily store activities, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, point-of-sale operations and reviewing parts sales orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Supervise the pick and pack parts generating shipping labels and necessary documentation and ensuring packages are properly secured and labelled for shipping.
- Supervise and coordinate shipping carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Implement and enforce store policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the purchasing team to ensure adequate stock availability.
- Maintain awareness of market trends and customer demands to optimize sales opportunities.
- Analyze sales data and prepare reports on store performance for management review.

Supervising Shipping Requests:

- Supervise the receiving and process of shipping requests from various departments.
- Prioritize shipping requests based on urgency and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to gather necessary information for shipping.
- Communicate shipment status and tracking information to internal teams and customers.
- Implement and maintain the 5S methodology in the store parts area, ensuring regular cleaning and a safe and orderly workspace.
- Sort and organize parts inventory for easy accessibility.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with 5S standards.
- Identify and report any issues or improvements related to organization and cleanliness.
- Supervise the store team by providing guidance and coaching as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant export control regulations like ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and EAR (Export Administration Regulations).
- Develop, control, monitor and review export activities, including shipments, documentation, and record-keeping, to verify compliance with export regulations.

**Qualifications and Requirements**
- A high school diploma or equivalent; additional logistics or supply chain management training is a plus.
- 5 to 7 years’ proven manufacturing store work experience in a management or supervisory role required.
- Proven experience in shipping, logistics, or a related field.
- Ability to handle physical workload and must be able to lift up to 50 lbs daily.
- Counterbalance Forklift Certification is required.
- Intermediate computer skills that include use of Excel Data entry and experience with ERP systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of shipping procedures, carrier regulations, and documentation requirements.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to multi-task, be well-organized and detail-oriented, coordinate and collaborate with different stakeholders while operating in a fast-paced and dynamic organization.
