Assistant Manager

**Duties**:
- Assist ownership in overseeing daily operations and ensuring efficiencies
- Promote a positive work environment, leadership and guidance to the store team
- Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and training new employees
- Monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints, striving to provide excellent customer service
- Assist in inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise
- Provide administrative support to the office staff as needed
- Manage office supplies
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, assist with data entry and maintaining accurate records
- Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and conducting interviews
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures
- Process payroll and handle employee benefits administration
- Assist with employee relations issues and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures
- Conduct data entry and maintain accurate HR databases
- Conduct duties as assigned

- **Skills**:
- Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of QuickBooks for basic bookkeeping tasks is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Proficient in time management and prioritization
- Ability to conduct interviews and make hiring decisions
- Strong management skills with a focus on achieving targets
- Previous experience in a human resources role or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of HR processes and procedures
- Familiarity with payroll processes and employee benefits administration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping
