Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Front End Associate to join our team. As a Front End Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth checkout process for our customers. If you have a passion for hospitality, cash handling, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using a POS system
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Assist customers with any inquiries or concerns
- Provide product information and recommendations to customers
- Follow food safety guidelines when handling food items
- Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent customer service at all times
- Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves as needed

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in cashiering or the food industry is preferred
- Strong math skills and ability to handle cash accurately
- Excellent hospitality and customer service skills
- Knowledge of POS systems is a plus
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Time management skills to ensure efficient checkout process
- Basic understanding of food safety guidelines

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.50-$18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- serving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Smart Serve (preferred)

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 2024-05-12
