**Duties**:

- The Psychometrist works under the clinical supervision of a registered Clinical Neuropsychologist for all clinical activities.
- Providing clinical support to Neuropsychologist staff in the delivery of neuropsychological assessment services.
- Responding to service consultation requests for neuropsychological services in a timely fashion.
- Contribute to the triage system for client waiting lists.
- Administration and scoring of psychometric measures used in neuropsychological assessment.
- Attend team meetings and contribute to discussions regarding service delivery.
- Provide research support to the teams.
- Assistance with the preparation of educational presentations to hospital, community, and academic audiences.

- Demonstrate awareness of and adherence to practices that are in alignment with Supervising Psychologist’s ethical and professional requirements, including; awareness of College of Psychologists of Ontario guidelines for supervision of non-registered psychology staff, professional practice, and practices regarding communications and documentation of client contacts, as well as adherence to The Royal’s policies on timely completion of documentation and workload measurement.
- Work in a manner that is in compliance with staff and patient/client safety practices, policies and procedures of The Royal.

**Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree in Psychology from an accredited university with appropriate training.
- Experience in a psychiatric setting preferred.
- Knowledge of techniques to effectively communicate with patients who have severe psychiatric, sensory and/or cognitive problems.
- Knowledge of psychometric test administration procedures used in Neuropsychological assessment batteries, and appropriate for use with a range of youth, adults and geriatric population, including those with developmental disabilities.
- Commitment to continuous learning and quality improvement.
- Ability to work actively and collaboratively in an inter-disciplinary team and with other service providers.
- Ability to respond to consultations in an effective and timely manner.
- Familiarity with the standards of the College of Psychologists of Ontario.
- English level A- in oral expression, oral comprehension, reading and writing is mandatory. Bilingual (French/English) is an asset.

**Salary Range**:

- 40.40 to 51.47 per hour**Additional Information**
