**Objective of Position**

Commercial Glazier/Installer is a results-oriented self-starter who is meticulously detail-oriented, able to manage multiple functions in a project at once, possesses excellent time management and problem-solving skills, and demonstrates an eagerness to embrace new challenges. You are an expert in Commercial setting with excellent working knowledge of Storefronts, Curtainwall, Aluminum Doors, Windows, and Glass works. You are customer centric focused and thrive in a fast-paced working environment that requires open & effective communication between multiple disciplines.

**Accountabilities**
- Plan, organize, evaluate and execute all type of installation (Glass, Aluminum, Flashing, Sealings etc. that are being scheduled.
- Follow up with the Team Lead/Lead Hand for ongoing jobs and extending support wherever required.
- Ensures effective execution and completion of Day’s work on site in line with daily work allocation.
- Should have reasonable capability of referring to Blueprints to figure out size/shape/location of the glass & other Aluminum profiles in a building.
- Comfortable in various work settings (working on heights/scaffoldings/swing-stages) as the project requires while observing all safety regulations and requirements all the time.
- Able to work with glass in varied settings i.e., Spandrels, in Curtain Walls, Storefronts, Doors, Windows, Skylights, mirrors, ceilings, facades, shower doors etc.
- Able to effectively work on Installing various Storefront and curtain-wall Aluminum framing and Doors.
- Reasonable working knowledge of punching/cutting, prepping the material in Shop and getting it Install-Ready for the site.
- Provide desirable support on-site to other team members for lifting/balancing/supporting activities where more than one installer is required.
- Communicate effectively with team members and/or management regarding the availability/inventory status of products that need to be installed.
- Doing correct on-site measurements for Glass, Aluminum, Flashing, Steel, and accessories as required.
- Will be required to visit a site on their own and expected to take measurements for glasses or other Company installed or serviceable product; if reported damaged by customer, for reordering purpose.
- Some minor office duties, documentations and paperwork

**Education & Qualifications**
- High school diploma / degree or equivalent.
- Clear criminal check.

**Experience / Capabilities**
- Post-secondary education is considered an asset.
- 5-7 years prior Glazier/Installer experience in Commercial Sites’ or equivalent setting.
- Mindset of observing Safety Rules and Regulations and observing Safe work practices on-site and in Production/Shop settings.
- Strong work ethic, action oriented and desire to achieve excellence.
- High comfort level working in a fast-paced team environment that is constantly changing.
- Should have a valid Class-5 Driver’s license and clean driving record. Will be required to drive their own vehicle to work and maybe required, at times, to drive company vehicle.
- Ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines.
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written in a multicultural company.
