**In accordance with the policies and practices of the School Board and the regulations of the_ Ministère de l’Éducation _
- (MEQ), _the Principal must, on a daily basis, make administrative and pedagogical decisions pertaining to the school in
order to foster the academic success of all students in accordance with the Education Act, the ETSB’s Commitment-to
- Success Plan and policies.

The position entails, in particular, responsibility for the management of instructional and educational matters, human,
financial, material and information resources, day care services and community relations.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:
Bachelor's degree in education or undergraduate university degree in an appropriate field of study attesting to a university
study program of a minimum duration of 3 years.

Graduate program of university studies including a minimum of 30 credits in management relevant to the job of school
administrator._ (A minimum of 6 credits must have been acquired prior to the first appointment to a senior staff position in a _
- school and the remaining credits should be acquired during the five years following such appointment. In exceptional cases, _

Eight years of relevant experience.
Permanent teaching permit issued by the _Ministère de l’Éducation (MEQ.)**OTHER CONSIDERATIONS**:
Excellent leadership abilities and evidence of pedagogical leadership in his/her current setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Mastery of the English and French languages (oral and written).
Commitment to the implementation of evidence-based practices.
Recognized as an effective teacher.
Evidence of ongoing professional development.
Knowledge of the ETSB’s Commitment to Success Plan and its pillars, including the developmental approach

and professional learning communities.
Proficient in the use of technology integration.
Works effectively under pressure and within time constraints.
Values community involvement and outreach.
Proven ability to work collegially with other leaders within a team.

**STARTING DATE: August 5, 2024**

School Boards” adopted by the Order of the Minister of Education (Class 7 - 84 101 $ to 112 133 $).
