**Job Overview**
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. a critical role in supporting Quality and Projects teams by safely operating forklifts

to transport materials, ingredients and finished goods as directed. This position will be responsible for

supporting inspections, maintaining inventory organization, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality and

inventory standards.

**Essential Functions**
- Safely and effectively operate forklift to move materials as directed.
- Assist in conducting inspections and tests by providing timely access to materials.
- Perform routine checks to ensure the safe operation of equipment. Work in compliance of all Health and; Safety requirements.
- Maintain an organized inventory system, ensuring that all products are stored in designated areas for easy retrieval in accordance with Tradition Warehouse Rules.
- Accurately complete and maintain records related to inventory movements, inspections, and
- quality-related activities using SAP.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the plant, including warehouse and QA areas.
- Operate lift truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping-and-receiving platform to
- storage or work area.
- Valid license for counterbalance and Raymond Reach
- All other duties as may be required from time to time

**Physical Demands**
- May be required to stand/sit/walk for long periods of time.
- Will be required to engage in bending, stooping, squatting and ladder climbing.
- Due to the environment, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions which include extreme heat, humidity and cold.
- Will be required to move product in and out of freezer
- May be required to lift heavy objects (up to 25 kg or 50 lbs)

**Health and Safety**
- Conduct all Job Tasks in a Safe and Responsible manner.
- Participate in all Health and Safety, GMP and HACCP training as required.
- Report any accidents, incidents and unsafe/hazardous conditions to your leadhand/supervisor.
- Report any damages of property and machinery to your leadhand/supervisor.
- Ensure that you understand how and when to use the Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) that is located in your work area.
- Ensure you comply with OHSA, WSIB, MOL regulations and/or laws that govern “workers” responsibilities in the workplace (covered during orientation - section 28 of the OHSA i.e. “Green Book”) and Comply with Tradition Fine Foods Ltd. Safety Rules and Good Manufacturing Practices, and HACCP Programs

**Duties**:

- Operate a forklift to move materials within the warehouse
- Perform tasks such as order picking, loading, and unloading
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory
- Conduct basic maintenance checks on the forklift
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed

**Qualifications**
- Education equivalent to the completion of grade 12.
- Has good communication skills, is well-organized and able to work efficiently and accurately.
- Forklift certified on Counterbalance & Walkie (Raymond Reach would be considered an asset)
- Computer literate and able to read bar codes

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.00 per week
