Student Assistant, Immigration Services*
**Term of Employment: As soon as possible to July 30, 2023**
**Hourly Rate: $13.56 per hour**
**Location: Henlow Campus and/or remotely, as required**
**Hours of Work: Monday 8:30 am to 1:30 pm, Tuesday to Friday, 8:30 am to 12:30 pm (21 hours/week)**
Reporting to the Immigration Services Advisor, the Student Assistant is responsible for contacting international students and collecting student data on study permits, co-op work permits, arrivals, and other immigration matters that affect their studies. The Student Assistant will also respond to general student inquiries and provide general information.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:*
- Providing students with general immigration information and supporting as required (e.g., Application guides on the MITT immigration information page or one-pager provided by Immigration Services Advisor).
- Responding to general inquiries and providing information as per the response template or instruction by Immigration Services Advisor.

Required Qualifications and Experience*:
- A combination of related education and experience may be considered._
- Degree, diploma or certificate in business, statistics or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Experience in data entry and data management.
- Experience in dealing with confidential information.
- Strong computer skills (MS Office Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams), time-management and communication skills.
- Able to work independently, be reliable and detail-oriented.
