**_BIS Safety Software_** is a fast-paced, high-growth software company providing solutions for the safety industry - a tech company that helps keep people safe at work. We are expanding our team and seeking a full-time Human Resources Generalist to join our People and Culture department.

In this role, you will be involved in a wide variety of HR related tasks focused on continuing the work of building and developing our team through recruitment, onboarding, and culture building as well as handling the administration tasks associated with these activities. Of course, as a generalist, you will also be involved in other related HR tasks as required.

This role is an in-person position in our Sherwood Park office.

- Helping to build proactive sourcing strategies and talent pipelines for priority business areas
- Ensuring a positive relationship with all team members is fostered and assisting in the resolution of issues among team members and on behalf of BIS
- Assist in the development and delivery of onboarding programs for new team members
- Supporting skill development and growth opportunities for team members through ongoing learning and development initiatives
- Maintaining a strong knowledge of Alberta Employment Standards, the Canada Labour Code and other relevant legislation
- Additional Human Resources duties as required - we are a small and collaborative team, and you will be involved in all HR related tasks

**Qualifications**:

- 2+ year of experience in a Human Resources generalist role, specifically with recruiting
- Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Human Resources or similar field is considered an asset
- Strong computing skills with experience using an ATS as well as MS Office products such as Excel, Word and Sharepoint.

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
