**Requirements**:

- Ontario Plumbing license 306A.
- Strong technical, interpersonal and customer service skills including verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine plumbing system layouts for water supply and drainage networks.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills.
- Strong project management and reporting capabilities.
- Ability to effectively manage time and stress.
- Ability to direct other plumbers and collaborate with contractors and other trades.
- Excellent trouble-shooting and corrective action abilities.
- Physical strength and stamina.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team as job requirements dictate.
- Valid and clean G2 Ontario drivers license.
- Clear criminal record check.

**Responsibilities**:

- To specification/code plumbing of water supply and drainage networks.
- Assembly, installation, repair and maintenance of commercial, industrial and domestic plumbing fixtures and systems.
- Effective testing and corrective action as necessary.
- Effective selection/sourcing of plumbing materials based on budget, location and intended use.
- Assistance in the preparation of bids and schedules as required.
- Detailed, thorough and accurate documentation of work performed and materials used, as well as progress reports and problem summary/action reports as necessary.
- Effective and efficient use of company resources (materials, vehicles, fuel, time).
- Courteous and professional communication/collaboration with customers, teammates, partners, contractors, other trades, suppliers and office staff.
- Training and oversight of apprentices, other plumbers and labourers as necessary.
- Maintenance of clean, organized and safe shop and jobsite work areas, materials storage areas, and company work vehicles.
- Adherence to Health and Safety standards and compliance with building codes.
- Participation in the company rotational emergency on-call program.

Physical Demands: Lifting, kneeling, squatting, working at heights and in confined spaces, dusty/dirty environments etc.

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
- 24 Hour on-call (rotational).
- Occasionally scheduled after hours work.

Pay: $38.00-$42.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- plumbing: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Plumbing (required)
- G2 Ontario Driver's Licence (required)
