- Cegep Champlain St. Lawrence is seeking the services of a PEDAGOGICAL AND INSTITUTIONAL DEVELOPMENT for a part-time special project.
- Reporting to the Coordinator of Pedagogical and Institutional Development, the incumbent provides specialized support to faculty, professionals, support staff, and management personnel in areas connected to pedagogy such as individual pedagogical support and pedagogical research & development, valorization of indigenous cultures, development of French proficiency for students attending an English college.
- **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Provide pedagogical support- Assist the Pedagogical and Institutional Development Service in identifying and addressing pedagogical issues with members of the faculty, through the administration of surveys and other means;
Play an active role in the development of research projects and the promotion of research:
- Assist teachers in writing articles presenting their research work;
- Support the institution in developing responsible practices in research data management.

Play a role in the promotion of Indigenous cultures:
- Develop partnerships with Indigenous stakeholders and organizations for activities promoting Indigenous cultures;
- Support teachers in developing educational activities that promote Indigenous cultures;
Play an active role in the development of French proficiency for students attending an English college:
- Support the Language (French) and English departments in developing educational tools that foster student success at the Épreuve uniforme de Français;
Other- Participate on committees as requested;
- Contribute to grant requests related to academic programs.

**Requirements**:

- What are we looking for in this position?- Must have excellent knowledge of research at the college level;
- Must have excellent knowledge of Indigenous cultures issues in Quebec;
- Must have excellent disciplinary competencies in literature;
- Must be proficient in both English and French, spoken and written;
- Must have excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills;
- Must have good organizational skills;
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.);
- Must have teaching experience.

**Salary Scale**: 50 150$ - 92 027$ annuellement
