**THE ROLE**
PSP Military Housing was created in 1961 to provide housing for Junior Non-Commissioned Members posted to the National Capital Region. PSP Military Housing consists of 519 three-bedroom townhouses and 26 three-bedroom bungalows.

Under the supervision of the PSP Military Housing Superintendent, the general labourer will be responsible for general labour/maintenance work required at PSP Military housing. This will include everything from landscaping, cleaning, painting, and other building repairs and property maintenance.

**QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED** Education, Certifications and Licenses**

An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience will be considered

AND

Valid driver’s license class “G” or equivalent

**Experience**

In operating equipment for landscaping and general maintenance
In building repair and maintenance
In general painting
In general cleaning

**Knowledge**

Of general maintenance, repairs and improvement practices and techniques
Of grounds keeping practices and techniques
Of health and safety practices

**Competencies, Skills and Abilities**

Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

**LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS**
English of French essential. Bilingual an asset.
