Sydney, Canada Health Park Early Learning Centre Full time

Health Park Early Learning Centre and Shipyard Summer Program are hiring 2 Early Childhood Educators to work at our Early Learning Centre and 2 ECEs to work at our Summer Program located at Shipyard Elementary. Training is required, level 1, 3 or 3 would be accepted. The positions would run from July 2/24 to August 23/24.

This would be a great fit for a Level 1 ECE looking for work over the summer before returning to classes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom and outdoor environment
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians
- Maintain accurate records for each child
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment
- Utilize computerized systems for record keeping and communication

**Experience**:

- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Strong leadership skills to guide and inspire young learners
- Ability to effectively communicate and write in English
- Familiarity with childcare regulations and best practices

**Benefits**:

Pay: $17.00-$29.64 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)
