Korean Counsellor

**Counselling Support**
- Monitors progress of international students and provides ongoing support, referring students for professional assistance, when appropriate;
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure student satisfaction and success
- Provide supports to other administrative duties upon request
- Offer program counselling services and assistance to current and potential students
- Liaison with Academic Department to determine the most suitable study plan that meet the student’s needs and goals
- Address and resolve any student concerns, complaints, and requests
- Counsel students in order to ease the transition to living in Toronto and cultural differences
- Provide ongoing support to students and parents
- Other Duties as assigned by supervisors.

**Job Qualifications**:

- College diploma or university degree
- Experience in international student counselling is preferred
- Fluent in English and Korean
- Must be proactive and performance driven
- Knowledge of educational systems and international secondary & post-secondary system of other countries is an asset
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues and students
- Proficient in Microsoft office, outlook and google drive
