**We are looking for a diligent and handy employee to work as an important part of our team. This person must possess the ability to provide attention to detail in their work. Must be willing to learn and develop skills.**

**Tasks involve**:

- Maintains organization of Costume Cleaning room
- Lifting up to 50 lbs
- Receives, processes and cleans laundry and mascot characters
- Prepares paperwork for repairs on mascots
- Operates washing machine and wet-vac to machine wash bodies and hand clean mascot faux fur heads and feet
- Folds clean laundry or hangs laundry as appropriate
- Performs minor repairs (sews by hand or operates sewing machine)
- Packs up characters to go out, prep for shipping
- Prepare shipping paperwork (including US Customs paperwork) for local, domestic and international shipping
- Follow up on shipments to avoid shipping delays, keep clients informed
- General Cleaning of production areas, kitchen, washrooms and offices (sweep, dust, sanitize)
- organization of stock (rolls of fabrics, supplies, items on shelves)
- assisting others to keep our workspace clutter-free
- some computer work and correspondence
- read & write in English

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
