Ritestart Limited is a COR Certified General Contractor in the ICI sector and is looking for a qualified, knowledgeable, adaptable individual to join our growing team and to develop their career as a **Safety Administrator**.

Based in Burlington, Ontario, we specialize in renovations, retrofits, new buildings and additions.

The Safety Administratorwill report to the Health & Safety Manager and will provide administrative support to the Safety Department and other Teams within our organization.

We are seeking someone who has strong administrative and organizational skills, who is versatile and flexible in the dynamic industry of construction and who can work with a team or independently.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Obtain, file, track and maintain all trade safety documents (i.e. Form 1000, safe work plans, Certificate of Insurance, etc.), with timely follow-up.
- Update and distribute policies and procedures as directed by the Health & Safety Manager.
- Review and update training certificates and credentials for all personnel.
- Assist with project safety start-up.
- Update safety logs and tracking reports as required.
- File, track and maintain preventative maintenance reports.
- Attend safety meetings to document, prepare and distribute meeting minutes.
- Manage and maintain safety software platforms.
- Assist with other administrative tasks, when time permits, or as required, within the company.

**Requirements**:

- Administrative diploma or equivalent.
- **Relevant experience as an administrator (minimum 2 years required).**
- **Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (required).**
- Experience in the health and safety field of construction (preferred).
- **Excellent written and oral communication skills (in English - required).**
- Highly organized and able to adapt to a fast-paced construction environment.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

This is a permanent, full-time, dayshift, Monday through Friday position, working from our office in Burlington, Ontario.

**Salary**: $50,000 - $52,500 per year.
