**OVERVIEW**
Commissionaires Great Lakes offers an immediate opportunity for a versatile, highly motivated Security Professional. We are looking for an individual with excellent interpersonal and verbal communications skills, strong working knowledge of computer systems, CCTV experience, a positive attitude and the ability to provide excellent customer service, security and protection for our client's site. As a front-line representative of our company and client’s site you must be highly reliable, work well under pressure, able to work with mínimal supervision, have the ability to multitask and be a professional who takes pride in your dress, deportment and performance at all times.

**JOB PROFILE**

The Duty Operator is the first point of contact with our own staff (Commissionaires) as well as existing and potential clients.
- The Duty Operator is responsible for_
- Resolving staffing and scheduling issues; and be expected to provide end-to-end solutions to problems
- Updating scheduling in TrackTik and other company computer systems as need
- Assisting staff with scheduling app, login issues
- Notifying Operations manager of issues, client complaints etc.
- Providing detailed shift reports, ensuring all details are handed off to the next shift
- All other duties as assigned as needed

Previous experience in Scheduling/Dispatching/Customer Service is a MUST with special emphasis on the following:

- Ability to deal effectively with Stressful situations
- Critical thinking; ability to make sound, independent and quick decisions as well as be able to think outside the box
- Extreme attention to detail
- Shows initiative, flexibility and resourcefulness
- Been a resident of Canada for at least 5 consecutive years
- Able to establish priorities, handle & resolve problems
- Able to function in a fast-paced office environment with moderate direction
- Excellent customer service skills when dealing with employees and clients
- Understanding the framework and principles of security industry an asset.
- Experience in contract management as well as principles and procedures of record keeping also an asset
- Able to carry out shift work 24 hours a day 7 days a week (per pre-established schedule)

**REQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Post-secondary education and /equivalent
- Work experience in scheduling, customer service or dispatching fields.
- Must have intermediary to advance knowledge of Microsoft Office programs - in particular: Excel, Word, Outlook
- Must have 5 years of residency in Canada for security clearance
