Our mandate is to 'Create happiness by offering incredible Muskoka experiences to our guests and team."- The **Housekeeping department** is the heart of the hotel, and is responsible for the cleanliness, aesthetic upkeep of rooms, public areas, and property. No level of service, friendliness or glamour can equal the sensation a guest has upon entering a spotless, tidy and fresh area. We are building our Housekeeping Team to ensure the heart keeps beating- Full time and part-time positions available with various start and end dates ranging from June through October. We are hiring for the following positions; Laundry Attendants Room Attendants, and Houseperson.- .**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES of LAUNDRY ATTENDANTS**
- Receiving, sorting, and marking soiled linen and apparel.
- Record damage or improper cleaning or laundering of articles.
- Preparation, washing, drying and pressing of linen and garments.
- Catching, folding, feeding and stacking ironed flatwork.
- Check finished dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure standards are met.
- Assemble and bag finished articles.
- Stacks linen supplies on storage room shelves.
- The Laundry Attendant communicates internally with members of the housekeeping team.

**PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT/REQUIREMENTS**
- Indoors in the laundry room - hot noisy environment.
- Utilizing machines and chemical products.
- Job requires you to be on your feet 100% of your shift.
- Be in good physical condition to perform extensive walking, bending, kneeling, lifting, reaching and stretching.
- Able to lift 25 pounds. Lifting, carrying and reaching up to 25% of time.
- Be able to climb up and down flights of stairs in order to reach the laundry room.
