**Job description**

At Graystone Children’s Early Learning Academy (GCELA), we believe in experiential learning in facilitating the growth and development of young children. We are seeking a **full-time Toddler Educator **position based upon 40 hours per week to join our team.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Provide continuous and attentive supervision of children.
- Develop program planning and implementation.
- Adhere to licensing requirements and program policies and procedures.
- Provide and maintain a safe, secure, organized and clean learning environment both in the classroom and outdoors.
- Ensure that health, safety, and all standards are met according to Ministry regulations.
- Prepare and maintain daily attendance, documentation and other reports/records as required.
- Assist with children’s meals and snacks including set up and clean up.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- A passion for working with Infants, Toddlers and Preschoolers.
- Available for rotating shifts including opening shift 7:30 am-4:30 pm, Middle shift 8 am-5 pm and closing shift 8:30 am-5:30 pm.
- 1-2 years of experience working with Infant, toddler and/or preschool children.
- Early Childhood Education Diploma.
- Registered with the College of ECE
- Current Infant/Child Level C- C.P.R. and First Aid.
- Current immunization record including TB testing (two-step or one-step).
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check provided to GCELA.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exemplify professionalism at all times.
- Experience planning and implementing age-appropriate programs.
- Able to work independently and cooperatively in a team environment.
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $21.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
