We are currently seeking competent individuals to fulfill the role of **Business System Analyst **to join our dynamic team to work at our client, one of the major banks.

**Job Type**: Contract

Term: 6 months and extendable to longer term

**Responsibility**:

- Analyse the existing database data structure, relationship, values for each table
- Identify all the existing batch jobs
- Document all above data, mapping, relationships, and business logic
- Run SQL often at the database to verify data, analyse data and collect data
- Working with technology and business stakeholders
- Review the documents with technical teams and end users
- Ability to multi-task, pro-actively coordinate with all stakeholders, meet deadlines, perform under pressure, and change priorities as needed.

**Must have skills**:

- **7+ years** of experience as a technical BA in **enterprise environmental**:

- **5+ years **of hands-on experience with data analysis, data mapping, data consumption, data structure, and business logic
- Strong data driven analysis knowledge, ability to write/run queries in **SQL**:

- Great **communications skills** to host meetings by working with different technical & non-technical stakeholders to collect, identify and verify the requirements.
- Very strong **document skills** for business Logical and mapping rule from source data to destination tables

**Nice to have skills**:

- Working experience with **TSYS **is a great asset
- Working experience related to **database migration** is preferred (eg. DB2 on Mainframe)
- **Bank / financial **related working experience is preferred.

**Degrees or certifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science or Software Engineer is preferred

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: $80.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Technical BA: 7 years (required)
- Data mapping: 5 years (required)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON
