**Status: Full Time**

**Department: Environmental Services**

**Site: St. Joseph's Hospital/ Sister Margaret Smith Centre/ St. Joseph's Health Care Centre/ Balmoral Centre**

**Shifts: Days/Evenings including weekends (potential for night shifts in future)**

**Rate of Pay: $24.42 - $24.84 per hour**

**Qualifications**:

- Previous cleaning experience in a healthcare facility a definite asset
- Must be in good physical condition and able to meet the demands of the job
- A physical test may be used during the interview process
- Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to operate all floor cleaning equipment including auto-scrubbers, carpet

shampooers, burnishers, floor polishers, etc.
- Knowledge of stripping and waxing floors
- Heavy cleaning duties, requiring ability to move heavy furniture, filing cabinets, etc.
- Ability to work scheduled shifts and call-ins as needed
- Ability to read and write English
- Basic computer skills
- Demonstrated regular attendance at work

**CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT**
- This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
