**Responsibilities**:

- Receive and process incoming customer orders and requests.
- Coordinate and schedule transportation services for efficient delivery.
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and other team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Utilize transportation management systems to track shipments and update information as needed.
- Monitor and manage fleet activities, including driver assignments, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance.
- Collaborate with logistics team to optimize transportation planning and routing.
- Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a dispatcher or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with AS400 or other transportation management systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
- Strong phone etiquette skills with the ability to communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and team members.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
- Proficient typing skills to enter data accurately and efficiently.
- Understanding of fleet management principles.
- Familiarity with GIS (Geographic Information System) software is a plus.

**Salary**: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
