We believe that a _**Lead Educator**_ should have the ability to manage their classroom with their own style, while executing high quality childcare and education, and should have the resources to do so. We believe in providing the support, training, and flexibility needed to direct a classroom successfully while giving a _**Lead Educator**_ the freedom to meet those goals.

**Looking for leads in the following age grouping**:

- 12 months to 19 months
- 19 months to 3 years
- 3 to 5 years
- Kindergarten aged out of school care
- Grades one through six out of school care

**Campus Locations**:

- Lakeview Campus (3 years - 12 years)
- West Hillhurst Campus ( 12 months - 12 years)

This position is for one of our _**Lead Educator**_ positions. We are looking for someone who can facilitate and plan daily lessons, can organize and plan for camps and big group activities.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Development or Level 2 or Higher
- CPR as per licensing
- Up to date police clearance and vulnerable sector
- Experience in teaching is preferred
- A visionary mind-set
- Exceptional people skills
- Energy, excitement, and vision
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Class 4 License (BUS)
- Flexibility between locations (when required)
- Reliable vehicle
- The ability to problem-solve and navigate conflicts

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Compliance with all Alberta childcare rules and regulations
- Representing the company's vision and values
- Supporting your staff and fostering a team-based culture
- Communicating with management to hit targets and expectations relating to enrollment, labor, budgeting, and program
- Collaborating with the directors and ability to work with a team
- Creating a quality program full of rich curriculum experiences
- Planning events centred around family engagement
- Most importantly, an ability to have fun and foster a fun and caring environment for children, families, and staff

Pay: $23.00 - $32.00 / per hour

**Schedule**:

- Monday to Friday between the hours of 7am-6:00pm
- Home location for leads, may occasionally be required at the other campus
- Supplemental Pay: Bonus pay

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree

Pay: $23.00-$32.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
