**Job Duties**:

- Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of plant staff, which includes general labour and machine operators
- Ensure that plant production meets productivity goals and financial targets
- Ensure commodities produced meet the buyers’ specifications
- Coordinate with maintenance team to ensure preventative maintenance is performed on schedule and downtime is minimized
- Work actively with scale and shipping personnel to coordinate material flowing in and out of the facility
- Ensure detailed coordination and communication with management,
- Ensure good housekeeping and a safe, well-organized facility
- Prepare production and other reports
- Train personnel on floor operations, quality specifications of recycled materials, and safety procedures
- Provide recommendations to improve production and product quality
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ability or willingness to be trained in operating and maintaining equipment
**Requirements**:

- Grade 12 or GED equivalency
- 2-3 years experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing or processing environment required
- Mobile equipment operation experience or certification (forklift, skid steer) preferred
- Experience in the waste management and recycling industry preferred
- Ability to speak, read and write in English
- Be available for overtime work if needed
