**Position Overview**

A successful Desjardins Agent is seeking a qualified professional to join a winning team for the role of Insurance Customer Service Representative - Desjardins Agent Team Member. **Main responsibilities**
- Establishes personalized telephone contact with the client. Creates a climate of trust conducive to the sale of a home or auto insurance policy. Educates and advises our clients on our products, while adhering to the company's underwriting policies.
- Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies including updates to client records and databases with personnel, financial and other data
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to and advising clients regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverage, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with multi tasking skills and attention to detail
- Cross sell company products to clients and make recommendations
- Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
- Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
- Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
- Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day.

**Requirements**:

- OTL General License OR RIBO - Must complete before hiring.
- English and one of Urdu/Hindi Speaking Preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook
- Sales experience preferred but not required
- Excellent communication, written, verbal and listening skills
- Self-motivated, goal oriented and enthusiastic
- Willingness to learn, hold the right attitude, and work as a team player
- Ability to successfully complete LLQP license/exam (life insurance)
