**Position Description**:

- The Clinical Research Project Assistant works closely with the clinical research project managers to assist in research operations related to Artificial Intelligence. This position includes many of the basic tasks of the clinical research process, Job duties will include, but not be limited to:

**Protocol Related**:

- Assist with administrative tasks related to grant and/or manuscript preparation
- Maintain study binders, preparing study case report forms, and assembling packages of questionnaires.
- Conduct medical literature searches, maintaining literature databases and retrieving articles from the library.

**Research Subject Related**
- Conduct telephone interviews.
- Performing data management including checking data for accuracy and completeness, scoring data, entering data and data cleaning.
- Data collection from standardized questionnaires
- Obtaining informed consent for questionnaire-based research.
- Assisting in the development and maintenance of research databases and imaging systems
- Use imaging system to collect clinical and research data on surface images on patients with a diversity of pediatric craniofacial conditions
- Capture multiple 3D images using different devices
- Process and edit 3D images using various software
- Ensure the quality of the database,
- Develop a strong working relationship with clinic nurse coordinators and plastic surgeons to coordinate patient recruitment and data collection.
- Communicates effectively to diverse members of the health care team, researchers, and scientists.
- Ensure data security and privacy and conduct routine backup and recovery of data imaging.

**Here's What You'll Need**:

- Post-secondary degree in sciences, social sciences or a health related discipline.
- Previous clinical research assistant experience in both qualitative and quantitative studies is an asset.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, facilitation and organizational skills.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Internet and MEDLINE searches).
- Strong organizational and data management skills
- Ability to function independently yet collaboratively within a team.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills.
- Experience with working with infants, children and families.
