- You will be responsible for ensuring the success of sports programs by overseeing the selection, development and direction of the coaches, Volleyball players and teams; designing, developing and delivering a comprehensive Volleyball training program; recruitment of athletes to Notre Dame; and placement of Notre Dame athletes in suitable post-secondary and/or Junior College Volleyball opportunities following graduation.-
- Ownership of program development, administration, assessment and training
- Ensuring a friendly and outgoing atmosphere within a youth-friendly environment
- Promotion and marketing of the Volleyball program and it’s athletes
- Coaching and leading student athletic development including individual and team assessment and development plans.
- Program Recruitment
- Coach, organize and lead practices
- Creation of program content including practice plans
- Organize and align financial resources to ensure program delivery and meet goals
- Maintain cleanliness and condition of sports facility and equipment
- Logistic coordination for the program including the transportation of students and sports equipment to and from program sites
- Ensuring safety and well-being of participants
- Creation and development of program resources and contacts
- Ownership of program summer camps, showcases, and tournaments for the Volleyball program
- Other tasks as required by Director of High School programming

**Qualifications**
- A post-secondary degree/diploma with a combination of relevant education or professional experience applicable to the position
- A degree/diploma in Education, Business Administration Communications, Kinesiology, or Sport Management is beneficial but not mandatory
- Able to work independently to manage and motivate multiple groups to perform at their best
- Ability to work flexible hours, evenings and weekends, following our school calendar
- A demonstrated history of handling and maintaining sports equipment
- Possess or able to obtain First Aid and CPR/AED Level C qualifications
- Must be eligible to work within Canada and provide all documentation
- Knowledge of the Saskatchewan education system and familiarity with private, boarding school protocols considered an asset
- Client focus and interpersonal skills are required
- Superior communication and critical thinking skills are essential
- Ability to research, analyze, and assess information to develop and prepare reports, proposals, recommendations and items for decision.
- Must have a clean Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
- Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, qualify for insurance coverage to transport students
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population.
- Ability to take an active role in working with faculty, student groups and support services.
- Competent in the use of technology with the ability to learn and adapt to changing technologies.
