- Assist with implementing program plans and leading daily activities in accordance with YMCA standards and program expectations
- Foster meaningful relationships and provide a place for children and families, to belong
- Ensure the safety of all children, members, participants, staff,
- Facilitate and participate in daily activities in the pool, gym and outdoors
- Ensure child protection standards are met
- Ensure staff to child ratios are met
- Promote philanthropy by participating in YMCA of Southern Interior BC community initiatives
- Promote the YMCA's volunteer philosophy and integrate the value of volunteerism in dealing with members, volunteers, donors, and colleagues

**We’d love to hear from people with**:

- Passion to help children achieve their full potential through purposeful programming and implementation
- Relevant education/education in progress (degree, diploma or certificate) and/or experience working with children & youth
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with children & youth with exceptionalities an asset
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR-C an asset
- Availability in June for staff training
