Closures Technical Centre, a division of Magna International Inc., is focused on the design, development and testing of Mechatronics products for the automotive industry. We are currently looking for a student in a related field of either Engineering, Business or Office Management for a 4-month co-op placement starting this fall.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Undertakes some of the daily Document Control activities related to the Change Management process
- Occasionally provides direction and assistance to company personnel on the documentation and Change Management process when necessary and as expertise allows
- Performs validation testing on proposed updates and changes to the change management process as required
- Assists and coordinates, when necessary, identifying, reporting, researching, and resolving customer (internal/external) problems/concerns
- Assists when requested, in the daily Document Control activities related to IMDS submissions from supplier and to customers
- Assists in the daily Document Control activities related to Internal Data Integrity and External Data Integrity
- Transfers data and attachments from notes to other systems as required
- Reviews old drawings and identifies any not captured by Teamcenter prior to disposal
- Follows Magna's Code of Conduct & Ethics and related compliance policies
- Perform other duties as required

**Key Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Ability to communicate effectively
- A general understanding of documentation and the requirements
- A general understanding of traceability and the requirements
- Post-secondary education in a related field of either engineering, business, or office management
- Assets that will be developed on the job:

- Experience in Change Management
- Experience in Document Control
- Experience in Release Systems
- Experience working with engineering documents and blueprints
- Knowledge of AIAQ, IATF-16949 or ISO-9001 standards
- Knowledge and use of MS Office Suite programs (Excel, Word, Teams, Power BI)
- Ability to multi-task while consistently maintaining accuracy/attention to detail.
- Builds rapport well with internal customers.
- Ability to gather informal and incomplete information in time to generate resolutions.
- Must be able to work and be a reliable member of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills
