IT Technician

**IT Technician**
- **MUST RESIDE IN THE FRASER VALLEY REGION OF BC**_

We are a family-owned business that has multiple divisions across BC and Alberta, and we are looking for another Technician to join our IT team.

This job requires being onsite in Chilliwack, BC, 5 days a week, Monday - Friday, for a morning shift, 4:00 AM - 12:00PM.

You will be the first point of contact for our employees whom you will help support.

You can work both independently as well as part of a team.

An understanding of PHP will be a great asset. We are willing to help train you to develop your skills as necessary.

**Required Experience with**:

- Office 365
- Active Directory
- Networking
- Windows 10/11

**Specific experience with the following is an added asset**:

- Exchange Server
- Group Policies
- Network Cabling / Fiber Optic Splicing
- Scripting Languages
- Hyper-V
- Linux
- PHP Programming Language

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- At least 3 years of experience in a Help Desk or System Administration role.
- Strong and effective oral and written communicator.
- Strong time management skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with mínimal supervision.
- Detail oriented personality.
- Driven to always learn how to implement and support the cutting edge of technology.
- Professional, responsive, and positive work attitude is essential.
- Preference will be given to those with a degree or industry related certifications._

All applicants **MUST **currently reside in the Lower Mainland of BC. No Visa sponsorships are available.

Pay: From $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
